Wichard 1413W Captive Pin Long D Shackle 6mm 1/4" Grade 316L Stainless Steel

The Wichard 1413W is a captive pin long D shackle forged from Grade 316L stainless steel, engineered for demanding marine and rigging applications. The long D (dee) profile provides an elongated bow for improved load distribution and easier attachment to lines, straps, and fittings.

What sets this shackle apart is its captive pin design: the pin remains permanently connected to the shackle body even when fully opened, eliminating the risk of losing the pin overboard or during installation. This makes the 1413W ideal for use in challenging offshore and on-deck environments where dropped hardware is a serious concern.

Key Features:

• Captive pin design — pin stays attached to body at all times, even when open
• Long D shackle profile — elongated bow for versatile rigging attachment
• Forged Grade 316L stainless steel — superior corrosion resistance in saltwater environments
• 6mm (1/4") diameter — compact size suitable for light to medium rigging loads
• Smooth, polished finish reduces wear on lines and sails
• Designed and manufactured by Wichard in France to ISO and marine industry standards

The Wichard 1413W is trusted by sailors, riggers, and marine professionals worldwide for its reliability, precision engineering, and long service life in corrosive saltwater conditions.
