Wichard 1433W Key Pin Shackle 6mm (1/4") 316L Stainless Steel

The Wichard 1433W Key Pin Shackle is a premium marine-grade D-shackle engineered for applications that demand quick, reliable, and repeatable opening and closing — such as halyards, sheets, and other running rigging connections. Drop-forged from Grade 316L stainless steel and passivated for outstanding corrosion resistance, this shackle delivers exceptional working and breaking loads in a compact 6mm (1/4") diameter profile.

What sets the Wichard Key Pin Shackle apart is its captive pin design: the pin opens and closes with just a half-turn rotation, yet remains permanently attached to the shackle body — eliminating the risk of losing the pin overboard or during a rapid sail change. A self-locking detent secures the pin in the closed position, preventing accidental opening under load or vibration.
