The Wichard 2477W is a 4-3/4" (120mm) HR Forged Snap Shackle with Swivel Eye, precision hot-drop forged from Grade 17.4 PH high-resistance stainless steel and passivated for maximum corrosion protection. Designed and manufactured in France, this snap shackle is built for demanding marine applications where rapid release and rotational freedom are essential.

The integrated swivel eye allows the shackle to rotate freely, eliminating line twist and ensuring optimal sail orientation. The captive plunger pin design prevents accidental loss of the pin during operation, while the easy-pull release mechanism allows for quick one-handed opening even under load. A lanyard attachment point on the plunger pin enables remote or safety-line actuation.
