Taylor Made 2020108635 Removable Chafe Guard for 3/8"-5/8" Lines 14"

Taylor Made's DockGard Removable Chafe Guard is designed to protect your boat's gelcoat, paint, and dock lines from the damaging friction of chafe. Fits rope and line diameters from 3/8" to 5/8" and provides 14" of coverage along the line's most vulnerable wear points.

Key Features:

• Removable & Repositionable: Hook-and-loop (Velcro-style) polyester fasteners allow quick installation, removal, and repositioning without needing access to the bitter end of the line
• Durable Construction: Made with a UV-resistant polyester textile outer cover and a closed-cell foam inner cushion for reliable, long-lasting protection
• Wide Line Compatibility: Fits lines from 3/8" to 5/8" in diameter — ideal for common docking, mooring, and anchor lines
• Versatile Use: Suitable for dock lines, anchor rodes, power cords, and pre-spliced eyes
• Sold Individually: Each guard covers a single friction point; use multiple guards for full-line protection

When a permanent chafe guard isn't practical — such as on anchor lines or pre-spliced eyes — the Taylor Made DockGard Removable Chafe Guard offers a simple, effective solution. As friction points shift, simply remove and reposition the guard where protection is needed most.
