Taylor Made 2020109188 US Yacht Ensign Sewn Boat Flag 30x48 Inch

The Taylor Made US Yacht Ensign is a premium marine-grade nautical flag measuring 30" x 48", designed to fly proudly aboard powerboats and sailboats. This flag carries a rich history — it was designed by officers of the New York Yacht Club and authorized by an Act of Congress in 1848, and it remains a legal national flag for pleasure boats today.

Constructed from lightweight, fade-resistant nylon fabric, this ensign is purpose-built to withstand the harsh conditions of the marine environment, including UV exposure, saltwater, and wind. Each piece of the flag is crafted separately and individually sewn to prevent color bleeding, keeping the vibrant red, white, and blue colors bold season after season.

Key Features:

• Durable, fade-resistant nylon construction built for marine use
• Individually double-stitched stripes for long-lasting quality
• Hand-embroidered stars and fouled anchor detail
• Two solid brass grommets sewn into a reinforced canvas heading for secure attachment
• Separate sewn pieces prevent color bleeding
• Made in the USA
• Flag size: 30 inches x 48 inches — ideal for vessels approximately 30 feet in length

The U.S. Yacht Ensign features 13 alternating red and white stripes representing the original colonies, with a blue canton displaying 13 white stars and a fouled anchor. A sizing tip: for aesthetically proportional display, it is generally recommended that a flag measure 1 inch in length for every 1 foot of boat length, making this 30"x48" ensign ideal for boats around 30 feet. Taylor Made has been a trusted name in marine accessories since 1908.
