Interlux Paint 5608696 Micron CF Ablative Antifouling Bottom Paint Shell White Gallon

Interlux Micron CF is a copper-free, multi-season ablative antifouling paint designed to provide superior protection for boat hulls in fresh, salt, and brackish waters. This advanced formula uses Biolux Slime Blocking Technology to repel slime and Econea to combat zebra mussels and barnacles, offering an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional copper-based bottom paints.

Key Features:

• Self-polishing and self-smoothing properties reduce paint build-up and friction, improving fuel efficiency
• Safe for use on fiberglass, wood, steel, and aluminum hulls since the copper-free formula will not cause galvanic corrosion
• Theoretical coverage of 518 square feet per gallon
• VOC compliant with reduced solvent emissions
• Can be applied by spray, brush, or roller
• Available in five colors including Shell White, Red, Green, Blue, and Black
• Satin finish

Micron CF's copper-free formula makes it an excellent choice for boats kept in marinas where copper-based antifouling paints are not allowed. At least 2 coats should be applied, with an extra stripe coat in areas of high wear such as chines, rudders, sterngear, and any leading edges. The controlled polishing rate means less sanding is required when repainting, saving time and effort during maintenance.
