Product Details

The MC Enterprises 525042MC is an aftermarket RV water heater gas control valve (also called a water heater gas valve or propane gas valve). It is a replacement for Suburban 525042 / 161109. The valve is electrically operated. It opens to let propane flow into the burner chamber, and the water heater circuit board controls it.

  • Straight outlet: the outlet sits straight across from the inlet
  • Dual-solenoid design: gives efficient operation and added protection
  • 12V DC operation: powered through the 12V DC control board, with a 0.48 amp draw
  • Inlet: 3/8" FPT

  • Maximum pressure: 0.5 PSI

The water heater circuit board is not included. This valve is a direct-style replacement for a worn or failed gas control valve on a DSI-type RV water heater.
