Arco Starting & Charging AS48 Zeus Alternator Shield - 48V Protection Device

The Arco Starting & Charging AS48 Zeus Alternator Shield is an advanced protection device engineered to safeguard high-output 48V alternators from destructive voltage spikes caused by sudden battery disconnect events. This critical component protects your charging system investment by preventing the instant alternator diode failures that commonly occur during lithium battery BMS shutdowns or accidental switch interruptions.

How It Works:

The Zeus Alternator Shield actively monitors your alternator's output voltage and immediately clamps any excessive voltage spikes, safely diverting the energy to ground. This proactive protection extends alternator life by reducing stress on internal diodes and components during load dump events that would otherwise cause catastrophic failure.

Key Features:

• Protects against damaging voltage spikes from battery disconnects and load dump events
• Specifically designed for modern electrical systems with lithium battery banks and BMS shutoff capabilities
• Real-time status monitoring with integrated LED health indicator
• Quick and easy installation directly at alternator terminals
• Engineered for high-output 48V alternator systems in demanding applications
• Delivers up to 75% more survivable disconnect events compared to leading competitors
• Built to handle real-world high-amperage charging conditions

Applications:

Ideal for marine vessels, RVs, commercial vehicles, and any application using high-output 48V alternators, especially those with lithium battery systems. Essential protection for systems using ARCO Zeus alternators or any high-amperage 48V charging system where battery management systems may interrupt loads during operation.

Protect your investment and avoid costly alternator replacements with this essential charging system safeguard.
