Asea Power 634103 12 KVA Marine Isolation Transformer

The Asea Power Systems 634103 is a 12 KVA isolation transformer engineered as a direct drop-in replacement for the Charles ISOG2. Designed specifically for marine vessel applications, it protects underwater metal fittings from galvanic corrosion caused by shore power connections while shielding sensitive onboard electronics from electrical noise and ground faults present in marina shore power systems.

Key Features:

• 12 KVA capacity — provides robust power handling suitable for most cruising and live-aboard vessels
• Drop-in replacement for the Charles ISOG2 isolation transformer — no rewiring required
• Isolates vessel AC system from shore power ground, eliminating the path for galvanic corrosion on underwater fittings, props, shafts, and through-hulls
• Shields onboard electronics from shore power electrical noise and voltage spikes
• Provides electrical safety by breaking the galvanic connection between the vessel and the marina's grounding system
• Built for marine-grade durability in demanding aboard environments
• Designed and manufactured by Asea Power Systems, a trusted name in marine electrical power solutions

Installing an isolation transformer is one of the most effective ways to protect a vessel's underwater metals from the damaging effects of galvanic and stray current corrosion when connected to shore power. The Asea Power 634103 delivers this protection in a proven, reliable package with a familiar form factor that simplifies installation for repower and refit applications.
