Scotty 2202K Premium Microfilament Braided Downrigger Line with Terminal Kit 400 ft 250 lb

The Scotty 2202K Premium Braided Fiber Downrigger Line is a high-performance replacement downrigger line engineered for serious trolling anglers. Constructed from custom-manufactured Dyneema microfilament braid, this 400-foot spool delivers a rated 250 lb test with minimal stretch — giving you more sensitivity and reliable depth control while trolling.

Unlike traditional stainless steel cable, this braided line will not kink, fray, or rust, and actively helps combat electrolysis around your fishing hardware, extending the life of your downrigger components. The low-stretch characteristics of the braid translate to more direct communication with your downrigger weight and release mechanism.

Key Features:

• 250 lb test super-strong, low-stretch premium microfilament braided construction
• Made from Dyneema fiber — will not kink, fray, or rust like stainless steel cable
• 400 feet of line per spool
• Combats electrolysis around fishing gear and outlasts stainless steel cable
• Runs quietly through the water — eliminates the high-pitched hum associated with wire cable
• Includes Terminal Fastening Kit — no crimping required
• Compatible with Scotty downrigger reels and most major brand downrigger systems

The included terminal fastening kit makes installation straightforward with no special tools or crimping equipment needed. Whether you're replacing worn stainless cable or upgrading your current setup, the Scotty 2202K braided downrigger line is a durable, long-lasting solution built to handle demanding freshwater and saltwater trolling applications.
