CMP CMX09AL Streamlined Shaft Anode Aluminum CMX-9 2 Inch

The CMP CMX09AL is an aluminum streamlined shaft and rudder anode designed to provide reliable galvanic corrosion protection for marine vessels operating in salt and brackish water environments. Aluminum anodes offer an excellent balance of performance and longevity, making them the preferred choice over zinc in saltwater and brackish applications.

Key Features:

• Material: Aluminum alloy — ideal for salt and brackish water use
• Inner Diameter: 2.0 inches — fits standard 2-inch propeller shafts
• Outer Diameter: 3.6 inches
• Height: 2.9 inches
• Streamlined profile reduces drag and turbulence around the shaft
• Interlocking halves design for secure, easy installation without welding or special tools
• Suitable for shaft and rudder anode applications
• Protects shafts, propellers, struts, and related underwater metals from galvanic corrosion

The interlocking two-piece clamp-on design allows for straightforward installation and replacement on the propeller shaft without haul-out disassembly. The CMX-9 streamlined form factor minimizes hydrodynamic resistance while maintaining maximum sacrificial surface area for effective corrosion protection.
