Product Details

The Sherwood 18001-SHW Seastrain is a full-flow, inline raw water seawater strainer designed for marine applications. Featuring 3/4" FNPT female ports and a 20-mesh stainless steel screen, this strainer delivers effective filtration at ultra-low pressure differential — protecting engines, generators, air conditioners, washdown pumps, and saltwater galley pump intakes from debris and contaminants.

Key Features:

  • 3/4" FNPT female inlet and outlet ports for easy inline installation
  • 20-mesh stainless steel screen with a large ratio of screen area to port size for maximum flow
  • Clear bowl allows quick visual inspection and cleaning without removing the strainer from the line
  • Non-corrosive construction built for harsh marine and saltwater environments
  • Stainless steel ferrule reinforcements on ports for added durability
  • Lightweight design supports simple inline mounting
  • Optional mounting bracket available separately (Part #14240)

Replacement Parts & Accessories:

  • Replacement Bowl: #14379
  • Mounting Bracket: #14240 (sold separately)
  • O-Ring: #11805
  • Replacement Screen: #11810

The Sherwood 18001-SHW Seastrain is a trusted choice for boaters who demand reliable, low-maintenance raw water filtration as part of their vessel's cooling or plumbing system.
