Dometic 9610008459 WH6EA 6-Gallon Electric RV Water Heater

The Dometic WH6EA is a 6-gallon electric RV water heater designed for reliable, on-demand hot water in motorhomes, travel trailers, and other mobile applications. Operating on electric power only, this unit is ideal for setups with shore power or robust battery/inverter systems, delivering consistent hot water without the need for propane.

Built around Dometic's proven lightweight aluminum tank construction, the WH6EA requires no anode rod — significantly reducing routine maintenance compared to traditional steel-tank water heaters. The aluminum tank is also highly resistant to corrosion, extending the service life of the unit over years of mobile use.

Key Features:

• Electric-Only Heating — Clean, efficient electric heating element for shore power or inverter-equipped rigs
• 6-Gallon Aluminum Tank — Lightweight, corrosion-resistant tank with no anode rod required
• Low Maintenance Design — Aluminum construction eliminates anode rod replacement intervals
• Flange Mounting — Integrated flanges simplify installation and provide a secure fit
• Compact Form Factor — Designed for indoor RV installation with a space-efficient footprint
• Pressure Relief Valve — Built-in safety valve protects against over-pressurization
• Door Sold Separately — Compatible with Dometic exterior access doors (sold separately)

The WH6EA ships with the water heater unit and owner's manual. The exterior access door is not included and must be purchased separately. If replacing an older Atwood-style water heater, an adapter bracket kit may be required to properly cover the original cutout opening.
