Seachoice 899WG 8" Coarse White Convoluted Face Foam Grip Buffing Pad

The Seachoice 899WG is an 8-inch Coarse White Convoluted Face Foam Grip Buffing Pad designed for heavy cutting and compounding applications. Built with a unique convoluted (egg-shell) waffle face pattern, this pad is engineered to keep pad life up while reducing heat and friction during use.

Constructed from premium 40PPI reticulated polyester foam, the white foam compound pad delivers aggressive cutting power ideal for removing heavy oxidation, sanding marks, and surface defects from gelcoat, fiberglass, and painted surfaces. The hook-and-loop (grip) attachment system ensures a secure, wobble-free fit on compatible backing plates.

Key Features:

• 8" diameter, 1.5" thickness — standard size for rotary and dual-action polishers
• Convoluted waffle face pattern — allows airflow in and out of the pad for a cooler, smoother buffing experience and reduces grabbing
• 40PPI white foam construction — optimized for heavy cutting and compounding applications
• Recessed foam back — reduces backing plate contact with painted surfaces, protecting the finish
• Hook-and-loop (grip) mounting — compatible with most 7" grip backing plates
• Color-coded white — identifies this pad as a coarse/heavy-cut compound pad at a glance
• Made in the USA

The 899WG is compatible with recommended backing plates including the Buff & Shine 1938, 1800, or 700Y. Ideal for marine gelcoat restoration, automotive compounding, and RV surface correction work.
