Product Details

The SeaStar Solutions SSC21915-1 is a 15-foot JBS (Jet Boat Steering) cable engineered as a direct replacement for all SeaStar Solutions jet boat steering helms. Designed exclusively for jet boat applications, this cable delivers the precision, durability, and reliability that SeaStar Solutions — formerly Teleflex Marine — is known for in the marine steering industry.

Key Features:

  • Precisely Controlled Core-to-Conduit Fit — Ensures accurate, responsive steering feel with minimal play
  • HDPE Outer Jacket — High-density polyethylene construction provides excellent abrasion resistance and high resistance to water penetration
  • Stainless Steel Output Ends — Corrosion-resistant cable ends built to withstand the harsh marine environment
  • Snap-In Quick Connect (QC) Helm Connection — Designed for fast and straightforward installation at the helm
  • Made in the USA — Designed, manufactured, and assembled domestically
  • ABYC, ISO/IMCI & NMMA Certified — Exceeds all relevant marine safety and certification standards
  • ABYC P-23 Compliant — Suitable for use with Mercury Sport Jet and OMC Turbo Jet drives up to 175 HP
  • 2-Year Recreational User Warranty — Backed against manufacturer defects

Compatible with SeaStar Solutions jet boat steering helms: SH5087P, SH5088P, SH91691P, SH91692P and obsolete helms SH91678P and SH91679P.

Cross-Reference Part Numbers: SSC21915, SC21915, SSC-219-15, 1-SSC21915

When replacing a jet boat steering cable, measure the existing cable tip-to-tip and round up to the nearest foot to confirm the correct length before ordering.

Everything was seamless and smooth. Zero issues.

I searched online for my product, found it and the best price at thmotorsports.com, ordered it, and received it as promised, in perfect condition as advertised. I'm a satisfied customer. Guess they have a sister company: autoplicity.com. I'm shoppin' them too.

All good
