Prime Guard QUIK8M0222065 SAE 90 High Performance Marine Gear Lube 32 oz

Prime Guard QUIK8M0222065 is a high-performance SAE 90 marine gear lube formulated specifically for outboard lower units and sterndrive applications. Cross-references Mercury/Quicksilver OEM part number 8M0222065, making it a direct-fit replacement for Mercury and MerCruiser-equipped vessels. This 32 oz (1 quart) bottle delivers the marine-grade protection your gearcase demands.

Key Features:

• SAE 90 Viscosity — optimal gear oil weight engineered for demanding marine operating conditions
• Extreme Pressure Additives — protect gears against metal-to-metal contact in high-speed, high-horsepower applications
• Water Intrusion Protection — advanced emulsifiers prevent foaming and guard against gear failures caused by water entering the gear housing
• Corrosion & Wear Resistance — extensively tested formulation helps extend the life of critical lower unit components in both saltwater and freshwater environments
• Tackifiers for Film Adhesion — extreme pressure additives improve oil film adhesion and protect against excessive wear under load
• Recommended for Motors Above 75 HP — suitable for outboard lower units, jet pumps, sport jets, and Mercury MerCruiser sterndrive applications
• 32 oz / 1 Quart Bottle — convenient size for standard lower unit service intervals

Since no universal industry-wide standards exist for marine gear oils, using a product specifically designed and tested for marine applications is essential. The Prime Guard QUIK8M0222065 replaces Quicksilver OEM part 92-8M0222065 and supersedes earlier part numbers including 92-858064Q01.
