Quick FGBT12540120T00 BTQ 125-40 Bow Thruster 40kgf 12V 2.2kW D125

The Quick BTQ 125-40 is a high-performance tunnel bow thruster delivering 40 kgf (88 lbs) of thrust from a compact 2.2kW (3 HP) 12-volt motor, designed for installation in a 125mm (5") tunnel. Built for sailboats and powerboats requiring reliable low-speed maneuvering, this thruster combines powerful thrust output with efficient current draw to protect your vessel's electrical system.

Key Features:

• 4-Blade Composite Propellers – Engineered for maximum thrust performance with reduced current absorption compared to traditional 2-blade designs
• 40 kgf Thrust Force – Provides confident docking and maneuvering assistance in wind and current
• 12V DC Operation – Compatible with standard 12-volt marine electrical systems
• 2.2kW (3 HP) Motor – High-efficiency motor with lower amp draw for reduced battery strain
• 125mm Tunnel Diameter – Designed for standard 5-inch bow thruster tunnel installations
• Corrosion-Resistant Construction – Marine-grade materials suitable for both saltwater and freshwater environments
• Reversible Operation – Full port and starboard thrust control for precise handling

The Quick BTQ 125-40 bow thruster is part of Quick's BTQ series, known for its robust build quality, easy installation, and reliable performance. The composite 4-blade propeller design maximizes hydrodynamic efficiency, allowing the thruster to move more water per amp consumed — a critical advantage during extended docking maneuvers where battery capacity is a concern. This model is ideal for vessels in the 30–45 foot range seeking professional-grade thruster performance.
