Bearing Buddy 42445 2.441" Bearing Protector with Bra

The Bearing Buddy 42445 is a 2.441-inch diameter bearing protector designed to keep trailer wheel bearings packed with grease and protected from water intrusion. Engineered for use on boat trailers, utility trailers, and other towed equipment, Bearing Buddy replaces standard grease caps with a spring-loaded, pressure-retaining system that continuously maintains grease pressure inside the hub — helping prevent bearing failure caused by water contamination and grease washout.

This kit includes the Bearing Buddy Bra, a protective vinyl cover that shields the chrome-plated bearing protector from road debris, salt, and UV exposure, extending the life of the unit and maintaining its appearance.

Key Features:

• 2.441-inch outer diameter fits a wide range of trailer hubs
• Spring-loaded piston maintains positive grease pressure inside the hub
• Prevents water intrusion during boat launching and water crossings
• Includes Bra protective vinyl cover for added durability
• Easy grease addition via standard grease gun — no wheel removal required
• Chrome-plated finish resists corrosion
• Sight window allows visual inspection of grease level

Bearing Buddy bearing protectors are a trusted standard in the marine and trailer industry, providing reliable, low-maintenance protection that helps extend the service life of trailer wheel bearings.
