Swift Kompany 3603-040 MRBF Terminal Fuse 40A 58V DC Marine Battery Fuse

The Swift Kompany 3603-040 MRBF terminal fuse is a 40 amp marine rated battery fuse (MRBF) that protects DC electrical circuits from short circuits and over-current loads. It stops wire insulation from overheating and being destroyed. It suits marine, RV and vehicle battery systems, and is also called a 40A MRBF battery terminal fuse.

Key Features:

• 40 A continuous current rating with a 58 VDC maximum voltage, supporting 12 to 48 V nominal systems
• High interrupt rating: 10,000 A at 14 VDC, 5,000 A at 48 VDC and 2,000 A at 58 VDC, for circuits on large paralleled battery banks
• Ignition protected (SAE J1171 / ISO 8846), so it can be installed in closed compartments where explosive gases may be present
• IP66 ingress protection seals out dust and water
• Shock and vibration resistant design for harsh marine and vehicle environments
• Transparent body for easy visual checks of fuse status
• Color coded for quick identification of the amperage rating
• Meets ABYC requirements for DC main circuit protection on large battery banks
• Designed for use with MRBF terminal fuse blocks

This 40 A terminal fuse gives dependable main circuit protection for battery banks, and it is easy to inspect and identify.
