Swift Kompany 3603-175 MRBF Terminal Fuse 175A Marine Battery Fuse

The Swift Kompany 3603-175 is a 175 amp MRBF (Marine Rated Battery Fuse) terminal fuse. It protects main battery circuits in marine and vehicle electrical systems. It guards against short circuits and over-current loads, which helps keep wire insulation from overheating and being destroyed.

Key Features:

• 175 A continuous current rating with a maximum voltage of 58 VDC, suitable for 12 to 48 V nominal systems
• High interrupt rating: 10,000 A at 14 VDC, 5,000 A at 48 VDC and 2,000 A at 58 VDC, for circuits tied to large paralleled battery banks
• Ignition protected to SAE J1171 / ISO 8846, so it can be installed in closed compartments where explosive gases may be present
• Transparent body shows at a glance whether the fuse has blown
• Sealed construction rated IP66 against dust and water intrusion
• Color coded for easy identification of the amperage rating
• Shock and vibration resistant design for harsh environments
• Interrupt capacity meets ABYC requirements for DC main circuit protection on large battery banks

This terminal-style fuse is made for use with a compatible MRBF terminal fuse block. It is not meant to mount directly to a battery terminal. It is a good fit for boats, RVs, off-grid power systems and other 12 to 48 V DC installations that need dependable main circuit protection.
