Swift Kompany 3603-250 MRBF Terminal Fuse 250A 58VDC Marine Grade

The Swift Kompany 3603-250 MRBF terminal fuse (also called a 250 amp MRBF battery fuse) protects DC electrical circuits from short circuits and over-current loads. It stops wire insulation from overheating and being destroyed. The terminal-mount design suits marine, RV and vehicle battery installations.

Key Features:

• 250 A continuous current rating with a 58 VDC maximum voltage, which supports 12 to 48 V nominal systems
• High interrupt rating protects circuits connected to large paralleled battery banks. It also meets ABYC requirements for DC main circuit protection on larger battery banks
• Ignition protected to SAE J1171 / ISO 8846, so it is safe to install in closed compartments that may hold explosive gases
• Sealed against dust and water intrusion, with an IP66 ingress protection rating
• Shock and vibration resistant construction for harsh marine and vehicle environments
• Transparent design shows fuse status at a glance
• Color-coded to identify the amperage rating easily

Specifications:

• Continuous current: 250 A
• Maximum voltage: 58 VDC
• Interrupt rating at 14 VDC: 10,000 A
• Interrupt rating at 48 VDC: 5,000 A
• Interrupt rating at 58 VDC: 2,000 A
• Ingress protection: IP66
• Fuse type: Terminal (MRBF)

This fuse gives reliable main circuit protection for the life of the installation. It is a good choice for boats, RVs, solar and battery storage systems, and other high-current DC applications.
