Swift Kompany 4712-15 15A Push Button Circuit Breaker, Reset Only, 32V DC

The Swift Kompany 4712-15 is a 15 amp medium duty push button circuit breaker (also called a push-to-reset breaker or resettable DC breaker). It protects marine, vehicle and other low-voltage DC circuits from short circuits and overcurrent. It is a reset-only breaker, so it provides protection but not switching.

Key Features:

• 15 amp continuous current rating with a 32 VDC maximum voltage, suitable for 12V and 24V DC systems
• Trip-free design: the breaker cannot be forced on during a fault condition
• High interrupt current: 3,000 amps at 32 VDC, for circuits connected to large paralleled battery banks
• Meets ABYC E-11 interrupt requirements
• Ignition protected: safe for installation in closed compartments where explosive gases may be present
• Sealed against dust and water intrusion to protect the circuit for the life of the installation
• Compact design: lets you mount breakers close together for high-density panels
• 10-32 mounting with anti-rotation, corrosion-resistant locking hardware
• Rated for 100 cycles of endurance, with shock and vibration resistance for harsh environments

This breaker is a resettable alternative to fuses in boat, vehicle and other DC electrical panels. It restores the circuit with a push of the button once the fault is cleared.
