The Sierra Power Pack is a replacement outboard ignition power pack (also called a CDI module or ignition control module) for Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines. It is the electronic part of the ignition system that stores and rapidly discharges high voltage to the ignition coil. That discharge produces a strong spark, and the power pack also provides ignition timing for engine operation.
