Sea-Dog Line Universal Kill Switch Lanyard with Keys

The Sea-Dog Line Universal Kill Switch Lanyard with Keys is a marine emergency engine cut-off lanyard (also called an engine stop switch lanyard or safety tether). It helps shut down the engine if the operator is separated from the helm on a boat or personal watercraft. The lanyard attaches to the operator's life vest. If the key is pulled from the kill switch, battery power is cut right away.

Key Features:

• Emergency cut-off design that instantly cuts battery power when the lanyard is detached
• Universal lanyard and key design that works with the kill switches of many popular outboard brands, including OMC, Johnson, Evinrude, Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, Tohatsu, Suzuki and Nissan
• Injection-molded nylon and Delrin construction for durability in the marine environment
• Lanyard that attaches to a life vest while you operate the boat or personal watercraft
• Handy replacement or spare lanyard for boaters who want a backup on board

Sea-Dog Line is a well-known maker of marine hardware, rigging and electrical accessories. A kill switch lanyard is a simple, low-cost piece of safety gear. If you boat alone, keep a spare key on board in case the lanyard is lost. Replace any lanyard that is worn, cut or frayed.
