Engineered Marine Products Water Pump Impeller for Mercury Outboards

Engineered Marine Products water pump impellers for Mercury outboards are replacement cooling-system parts. They are made to replace worn or damaged original impellers. The impeller is the flexible, vaned rotor inside the water pump (also called the raw water pump or cooling pump). It draws water through the lower unit and pushes it through the engine to keep operating temperature under control.

Key Features:

• Aftermarket replacement impellers for Mercury outboard water pumps, with cross-references to the original Mercury/Quicksilver and Sierra part numbers listed for each part number
• Flexible vanes seal against the pump housing to keep cooling water flowing
• Replaces a worn, cracked, or hardened impeller to help prevent overheating and engine damage
• Different part numbers cover different Mercury outboard engine families and horsepower ranges

Impellers wear with use, and running the pump dry or in sandy water speeds this up. Inspect and replace the impeller regularly, following your engine manufacturer's service schedule. A fresh impeller is inexpensive protection for your engine. Choose the part number that matches your engine from the available options.
