Engineered Marine Products Starter Solenoid for Mercury Mariner Outboards

The Engineered Marine Products starter solenoid line gives Mercury and Mariner outboard owners an aftermarket replacement for the OEM starter relay. The solenoid sits in the starting circuit. When you turn the key or press the start button, it closes the heavy-current circuit between the battery and the starter motor. A worn or failing solenoid can cause a click with no crank, intermittent starting, or no start at all.

Key Features:

• Made as a replacement for the original-equipment starter solenoid on Mercury and Mariner outboards
• Switches the high-amperage starter current in the engine's electrical system
• Sold as an OEM-match part to help restore reliable engine starting
• Available as several part numbers, each matched to specific outboard applications

Each solenoid in this line is meant to replace the original part directly. This helps restore dependable starting and gives you a cost-effective alternative to the OEM part. Choose the individual part number that matches your outboard's original solenoid.
