Solas Bravo II Aluminum Propellers

The Solas Bravo II aluminum propeller line gives stern drive boaters a durable, cost-effective 3-blade aluminum prop built for the Bravo II drive. These props use larger blades than Solas' Amita 3 series. That puts more blade area in the water for strong acceleration and excellent thrust, and suits heavier boats.

Key Features:

• Exclusive squeeze-cast construction: Solas says this process makes the blades stronger and tougher than traditional die-cast aluminum props.
• 3-blade design: Gives good all-around performance, acceleration and top-end speed.
• Pressed rubber hub: A traditional rubber hub bushing helps give smooth forward and reverse engagement.
• 4-layer paint system: Solas says its coatings and painting process give excellent corrosion resistance. The company reports over 500 hours of salt spray testing, which it says simulates more than 6 months of normal saltwater use.
• Aluminum construction: A lightweight, economical alternative to stainless steel propellers.

Solas is a well-known name in marine propulsion, and it also builds the Rubex line. The Bravo II series is an affordable aluminum replacement prop for cruisers and other stern drive boats that need dependable thrust and performance.
