Perko Cast Bronze Intake Water Strainer Sea Strainers

Perko cast bronze intake water strainers (also called sea strainers or raw water strainers) protect a boat's engine cooling system and other raw water systems from debris. They catch weeds, sand, shell fragments and other material before it can reach the raw water pump, heat exchanger or other seawater-fed equipment.

Key Features:

• Cast bronze construction: Bronze resists corrosion and holds up in marine environments.
• Clear strainer cover: You can check the basket for debris without taking the strainer apart.
• Removable strainer basket: A removable basket lets you clean it out quickly.
• Intake protection: The strainer filters raw water before it reaches the pump and the equipment downstream.
• Marine-grade design: It is built for continuous use in saltwater and freshwater boating applications.

Perko is a long-established name in marine hardware. This line suits engine cooling intakes, generator and air conditioning raw water supplies, and other onboard systems that need filtered water. Regular inspection and cleaning of the basket helps keep water flowing and the engine running properly.
