Groco Stainless Steel Replacement Filter Basket for Strainer Sea Strainers

The Groco stainless steel replacement filter basket is a direct replacement strainer basket, also called a strainer screen or filter element, for Groco sea strainers. It restores filtering performance in raw water systems by trapping weeds, debris and marine growth before they reach your engine, generator, air conditioning or other seawater-cooled equipment.

Key Features:

• Stainless steel construction resists corrosion in saltwater environments
• Perforated basket design captures debris while allowing steady water flow
• Replacement basket made for Groco sea strainer housings, so you can renew the strainer without replacing the whole unit
• Easy to clean and reuse for long service life with regular maintenance

Inspect and clean the basket regularly, and replace it if it is damaged, corroded or deformed. A clean, intact basket helps protect pumps, heat exchangers and engine cooling systems from clogging and overheating. Groco is a well-known marine brand for sea strainers, seacocks and other through-hull plumbing hardware. Select the correct basket for your strainer model from the available options.
