Lewmar Anchor Rode Chain Rope with Shackle

The Lewmar anchor rode (also called an anchor line or chain-and-rope rode) connects your anchor to your boat. It is designed to run with the rope-chain gypsies fitted to Lewmar windlasses. Each rode combines hot-dip-galvanized G4 high-test chain with a rope section and includes a shackle for attaching the anchor.

Key Features:

• High-test G4 chain: welded chain rated to high-test G4 specifications for dependable strength.
• Corrosion protection: hot-dip-galvanized chain links help minimize corrosion in marine use.
• Even pitch: the chain is calibrated for even pitch so it feeds smoothly over the windlass gypsy.
• Smooth transition: the rope-to-chain splice passes through the windlass smoothly.
• Windlass-grade rope: available with treated, twisted 3-strand nylon rope or 8-plait rope. The plait rope has hand-sewn whipping and resists unraveling, hocking and kinking.
• Included shackle: a shackle gives you a secure, convenient anchor attachment point.

Lewmar makes windlasses, and these rodes are built to match the strength and fit of its windlass gypsies. They suit boaters who want a dependable anchoring setup.
