Simrad Halo Open Array Radar Radars & Autopilots

The Simrad Halo Open Array Radar line is a family of marine radar scanners for recreational and commercial boaters. Each model is built for clear target detection, so you can navigate with more confidence in busy waterways, poor visibility and at night. Halo radars are often called pulse compression radars or open array radar scanners. They pair with compatible Simrad multifunction displays and marine electronics networks.

Key Features:

• Pulse compression radar technology: Solid-state design delivers detailed imaging at close range and long-range detection from the same scanner.
• Open array antenna: Provides a narrow beam for sharp target separation and clear definition.
• Low power consumption and fast start-up: The scanner is ready quickly, without a long warm-up period.
• Target tracking and safety tools: Supports features such as target tracking and guard zones for better situational awareness.
• Marine-grade construction: Designed to withstand harsh marine conditions, including UV exposure, salt spray and vibration.
• Network integration: Connects to compatible Simrad displays for radar overlay and integration with other onboard electronics.

Simrad is a well-known name in marine electronics, with a long history in radar, sonar, chartplotters and autopilot systems. The Halo Open Array Radar line suits anglers, cruisers and commercial operators who want dependable radar performance on the water.
