Anderson Manufacturing Brass Flare Cap

The Anderson Manufacturing Brass Flare Cap is a 45-degree SAE flare tube cap. It seals off the end of a flared tube line, which makes it a useful fitting for fuel, plumbing, gas, refrigeration and vacuum lines. It is also sold under the names brass flare cap, flare tube cap and 45° flare end cap.

Key Features:

• Brass construction resists corrosion and holds up at high temperatures.
• 45-degree flare connection gives a secure mechanical seal without soldering. That helps where open flame or heat is impractical or not permitted.
• Two-piece design uses a nut and a body. It resists mechanical pullout.
• Reusable: you can take it apart and reassemble it many times without affecting the seal.
• Works with several tubing types, including copper, brass, aluminum and steel tubing.
• Wide operating temperature range of -65°F to +250°F.
• Lead-free compliant versions are available that meet Public Law 111-380.

Use these flare caps to terminate or plug a flared line, to cap off a line during service, or to close an unused port. Anderson Metals builds its 45° brass flare fittings to give long-term, reliable connections.
