Product Details

The Anderson Manufacturing 04040-06 is a 3/8 inch brass flare cap designed for sealing and capping flared tubing connections in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid systems. This precision-machined brass fitting provides a secure, leak-free seal for copper, brass, aluminum, and steel hydraulic tubing that has been flared to SAE 45-degree specifications.

  • 3/8 inch tube O.D. size with 9/16-24 fine thread
  • Constructed from durable brass for excellent corrosion resistance
  • Temperature range: -65°F to +250°F (-54°C to +121°C)
  • Meets ASA, ASME, SAE, and MS (Military Standards) specifications
  • Easy to disassemble and can be reassembled multiple times
  • Good vibration resistance for reliable performance

Applications:

Ideal for LP and natural gas systems, flammable liquids, instrumentation, refrigeration, power steering, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Maximum pressure ratings are based on 73°F working temperature.
