Barton Marine Ball Bearing Rope Sheave Blocks

Barton Marine ball bearing rope sheave blocks (also called pulley blocks or sailboat blocks) cut friction and make sail control and line handling easier on dinghies, day boats, cruisers and racing yachts. Each block has a ball bearing sheave that rolls smoothly under load. The line runs freely, and the block works well for mainsheets, vangs, kicker systems, lead blocks and general rope tackle.

Key Features:

• Ball bearing sheaves give smooth, low-friction rolling performance under load
• Strong frame construction uses internal steel or stainless steel frames and precision components. Larger ranges have through-bolted and riveted moulded side plates, and the load-bearing parts are marine grade 316 stainless steel
• Lightweight materials include glass-filled nylon and acetal sheaves in some ranges, which keep strength high and weight low
• Many configurations include single, double and triple sheave blocks, plus upright, stand-up, back-to-back, swivel, becket and Variloc styles, depending on the model
• Range of sheave sizes suits small dinghy lines up to heavier cruising and racing rigs
• Plain bearing options are also offered in many ranges
