Ronstan Halyard Shackle Pin Stainless Steel Shackles

Ronstan Halyard Shackles are 316 stainless steel marine shackles made for sailboat halyards and rigging. They are also called halyard shackles or captive pin shackles. The closed eye at the top keeps the halyard in place at all times. The captive pin can't be dropped or lost while you rig or work aloft.

Key Features:

• Grade 316 stainless steel bodies and pins resist corrosion in saltwater conditions.
• Captive shackle pin stays attached to the shackle, so it can't be accidentally dropped overboard.
• Lever-action pin opens and closes quickly. A quarter turn tightens or loosens it, and it can be worked one-handed.
• Keyed pin locks positively, and an anti-vibration retaining lug helps keep the pin from working loose.
• Removable halyard retaining pin lets you fit a pre-spliced halyard eye end.
• High strength-to-weight ratio keeps the shackle light for the loads it carries.
• Rated working and breaking loads are published for each pin size in the range.

Ronstan is a long-established maker of sailing hardware. These shackles suit dinghies, keelboats and cruising yachts, and they work wherever a quick-release halyard connection is needed. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure, and inspect regularly for wear.
