Beckson Marine Self-Drain Opening Port White Clear Lens Hatches

Beckson Marine Self-Drain Opening Ports are white-framed opening portlights with a clear lens. They add light and ventilation to a boat cabin, and they are built to shed rain when opened. The angled drainage design means you can open the port after a rainstorm without water running into the boat.

Key Features:

• Angled drainage ramp: The ramp sits on the outer part of the spigot. It drains water while still allowing a straight-sided hull cut-out.
• Dry cabin when opened: No water enters the boat when you open the port after rain.
• Through-bolt mounting: The drainage ramp is molded into the spigot rather than the body, so you can mount the port with through-bolts.
• Clear lens: The lens gives good visibility and natural light below deck.
• Screen and trim rings: Beckson ports come with screens and trim rings. Fasteners are not included.

Installation Notes: The Self-Drain style works best when the installation is within 15 degrees of vertical. For steeper angles, Beckson recommends its Rain Drain ports. Silicone sealant is recommended for forming the gasket seal.
