Centek Vernatone Round FRP Wet Marine Muffler Mufflers

The Centek Vernatone Round FRP Wet Marine Muffler is a water-cooled marine exhaust muffler (also called a wet exhaust muffler or silencer). It is built from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) and reduces engine exhaust noise on inboard boats. Boat builders and boaters have used the Vernatone design for over 40 years. It is widely regarded as the original FRP wet muffler in the marine industry.

Key Features:

• Corrosion-resistant FRP construction: The muffler will not rust or corrode.
• Fire-retardant materials: It is made from self-extinguishing resins.
• Low back pressure: The free-flow inline design has reduced internal baffling. This suits engines that are sensitive to back pressure.
• Good sound rating: It reduces exhaust noise.
• Versatile applications: It works with gasoline and diesel propulsion engines and with generator engines.
• Easy to install: It is an inline design for above-waterline mounting.
• 5-year warranty: The warranty is listed by Centek.

Installation note: Install this muffler above the waterline only. The Vernatone line is available in a range of inlet and outlet sizes to match different engine and exhaust system requirements.
