Maxwell Vertical Windlass Chain Rope Windlasses

Maxwell vertical windlasses are chain and rope anchor windlasses for recreational and commercial boats. The vertical drum design mounts the motor and gearbox below deck. Only the compact gypsy and deck unit sit above deck, which keeps the deck clean and uncluttered. Maxwell is a New Zealand marine brand known for anchor handling equipment, and its windlasses are used on sailboats and powerboats alike.

Key Features:

• Vertical windlass design: the below-deck motor and gearbox are separate from the deck-mounted gypsy, which saves deck space and gives a low profile.
• Chain and rope compatibility: a gypsy designed to handle rope/chain anchor rodes. Check the child item for the chain size and rope type it supports.
• Anchor handling control: powered deployment and retrieval of the anchor reduces physical effort and helps keep the crew safe.
• Marine-grade construction: built from corrosion-resistant materials for use in saltwater environments.
• Wide range of models: multiple versions are available to suit different vessel sizes and anchoring needs.

Whether you are replacing an existing unit or upgrading your anchoring system, a Maxwell vertical windlass gives you dependable, easy anchor handling. Select the child item that matches your vessel and anchor rode.
