Stingray Classic Junior Hydrofoil for Outboards and Sterndrives Hydrofoils & Trolling Plates

The Stingray Classic Junior Hydrofoil is a bolt-on hydrofoil stabilizer (also called a hydrofoil fin or trolling plate stabilizer) for outboard and sterndrive lower units. It helps small boats get on plane faster, stay on plane at lower speeds, and ride more steadily. It suits jon boats, inflatables, RIBs, and other light boats.

Key Features:

• Quicker hole shots: Creates lift at the stern to bring the bow down and get the boat on plane sooner.
• Lower planing speeds: Keeps the boat on plane at reduced speeds, which can save fuel.
• Better stability: Reduces or eliminates porpoising, chinewalking, cavitation, and ventilation.
• Improved visibility: Reduces bow rise, so the driver can see better at lower speeds.
• Drag-reducing wing texture: Helps maintain top-end speed. The design also has ghosted graphics.
• Secure 4-bolt installation: Mounts to the cavitation plate with mounting hardware, and drilling is required.
• Made for most outboards and sterndrives in the Junior horsepower range.

A Stingray hydrofoil can improve handling and efficiency, and many boaters find it pays for itself in fuel savings. It also helps when pulling skiers or tubers. Choose your preferred option from the variants listed on this page.
