3M Perfect-It Ultrafine Foam Polishing Pad Buffers & Polishers

The 3M Perfect-It Ultrafine Foam Polishing Pad is a foam buffing pad for the final polishing step of paint finishing. Use it with a rotary or random orbital polisher and a machine polish such as 3M Perfect-It EX Ultrafine Machine Polish. It removes polish swirls, holograms and fine swirl marks. The result is a clean, high-gloss finish, including on dark paint, where small defects show most.

Key Features:

• Ultrafine foam construction: gives a very refined cut and keeps the high gloss of the polished panel.
• Face design that holds polish: helps spread polish evenly and reduces slinging during final finishing.
• Easy attachment: depending on the model, pads use a Hookit hook-and-loop or Quick Connect system. Both allow fast pad changes.
• Foam polishing pad: foam is generally less aggressive than wool, so it suits the critical final polishing stages.
• Paint Finishing System: part of the 3M Perfect-It Paint Finishing System. It was developed for modern paints and clear coats.

These pads are a good choice for collision repair shops, professional detailers and enthusiasts who want a swirl-free, showroom-quality finish. Use them as the last step after compounding. Other names for them include foam buffing pad, finishing pad and swirl remover pad.
