Suburban Mfg RV Water Heater with Direct Spark Ignition Electric

The Suburban Mfg RV water heater with direct spark ignition (DSI) gives your RV, camper or motorhome a dependable supply of hot water. It is a tank-type RV hot water heater that runs on propane (LP gas) and campground or generator electric power. Direct spark ignition means you don't have to light a pilot by hand.

Key Features:

• Direct spark ignition: A control board sends a signal to the igniter, which lights the propane burner at the flip of a switch. The system runs on the RV's 12V DC supply.
• Gas and electric operation: Electric models have an Incoloy electric element, so you can heat water on shore power or generator power. Gas operation is available when you are off the grid.
• Porcelain-lined steel tank: The lining helps the tank resist corrosion and keeps the water fresh.
• Insulated tank: Insulation helps hold heat longer and cuts energy use.
• Replaceable anode rod: On many models the anode rod also serves as the drain plug. This makes routine maintenance and winterizing easier.
• Fast recovery: Gas-fired burners are designed to recover quickly, which cuts down on waiting for hot water.
