Xylem Rule GPH Non-Automatic Bilge Pump

The Xylem Rule GPH Non-Automatic Bilge Pump line is a series of submersible 12V and 24V electric bilge pumps for boats. They are designed to remove water from the bilge reliably. Rule is a long-established marine pump brand under Xylem. These non-automatic (manual) bilge pumps run from a separate float switch or a panel-mounted switch, so you choose how the pump is controlled. They work as a primary or backup bilge pump on recreational and commercial vessels.

Key Features:

• Non-automatic operation: Works with a separate Rule float switch or a panel switch. The switch is sold separately.
• Fully submersible: Corrosion-protected construction made for the marine environment.
• Anti-airlock design: Small vents in the strainer base release trapped air from the pump housing and help prevent airlocks.
• Easy maintenance: The snap-lock strainer base comes apart so you can clear debris quickly.
• Dry-run tolerant motor: The motor has a stainless steel shaft. It is built to run dry without burning out.
• Quiet centrifugal impeller: Designed for low-vibration operation.
• Marine-grade sealed wiring: Moisture-tight seals and ignition-protected design.
• Marine certifications: Models are designed to meet applicable standards such as ISO 8849 and CE.

The line spans a range of flow capacities, rated in gallons per hour (GPH). Choose the capacity that fits your boat and bilge. Pump output drops as discharge lift and hose run length increase. Keep the discharge hose short and direct for best performance. Rule's non-automatic bilge pumps are a traditional, easy-to-diagnose setup. They suit mooring, occasional-use boats, and as a high-capacity backup.
