Schaefer Marine Open Base Aluminum Deck Cleat Black Anodized Cleats

Schaefer Marine Open Base aluminum deck cleats give boats a strong, lightweight place to secure halyards, sheets and other lines. The open base lets you pass a line end through the cleat and knot it. That leaves a dead end that is easy to grab and keeps loose halyard ends from running up the mast.

Key Features:

• Open base design: lines pass through the base and can be knotted for a secure, easy-to-reach dead end
• Forged aluminum construction: strong yet lightweight
• Anodized finish: hardcoat anodizing for corrosion resistance and durability in the marine environment
• Line-friendly shape: scored horns hold the line securely
• Manufacturer warranty: Schaefer Marine warrants its standard catalog products against factory defects in material and workmanship for ten years from the date of purchase

Schaefer Marine has long been a trusted name in sailboat hardware. These cleats suit sailboats, dinghies and other vessels that need dependable line control on deck, on a mast or on a boom.
