Seastar Solutions TFXtreme Control Cable OMC Johnson Evinrude

The Seastar Solutions TFXtreme control cable is a marine-grade 479-type shift and throttle cable. It is built as a drop-in replacement for OMC, Johnson and Evinrude (BRP) outboard and stern drive control cables. It is designed for OMC-style controls that accept the "snap-in" type cable. This cable was formerly sold under the Teleflex Marine name.

Key Features:

• Patented splined core: Ridges on the core give a close fit with the inner liner. This allows smooth cable movement with minimal lost motion.
• Smooth in both directions: A multi-point contact core lets the cable glide easily on push and pull, which reduces drag and wear on the control.
• Suited to demanding installations: It handles complex or long cable runs, and it also makes any compatible control operate more easily.
• Corrosion-resistant fittings: Stainless steel and brass end fittings are made for the marine environment.
• Durable black HDPE outer casing: The jacket resists UV, salt water, oil, gasoline and other chemicals.
• Easy installation: The cable is a drop-in replacement and uses your existing connection components.

Choose the cable length that suits your boat. For a replacement, measure the old cable from tip to tip and round up to the next foot. Seastar Solutions TFXtreme cables are a dependable upgrade for restoring crisp, responsive shifting and throttle control.
