Martyr Anodes Replacement Anode for BRP OMC Johnson Evinrude Outboards

Martyr Anodes replacement sacrificial anodes for BRP, OMC, Johnson and Evinrude outboards help protect your engine's underwater metal parts from galvanic corrosion. The anode corrodes in place of the engine's metal components, so it guards against pitting and corrosion damage. Replace it when it wears down. This product line covers engine-specific zincs for outboard motors, including anodes that mount under the anti-ventilation plate and on the engine bracket.

Key Features:

• Sacrificial corrosion protection: the anode corrodes first to protect the engine's underwater metal components
• Engine-specific designs: made as direct replacements for BRP, OMC, Johnson and Evinrude outboard mounting locations
• Choice of alloys: zinc for salt water, aluminum for brackish water, and magnesium for fresh water
• Quality alloy: Martyr alloys are made to limit impurities such as iron, which can reduce anode performance, and are manufactured to meet or exceed US Military Specification MIL-DTL-18001L
• Simple replacement: screw-on style anodes that replace the worn part

Martyr Anodes is a well-known marine corrosion protection brand. It makes sacrificial anodes for engines, propellers, shafts, rudders and hulls. Check your anode regularly and replace it before it is fully consumed. Choose the alloy that matches the water you boat in.
