Product Details

The Martyr Anodes CM398331A is a direct replacement sacrificial anode designed specifically for BRP, OMC, Johnson, and Evinrude outboard motors. This anode protects your engine's metal components from galvanic corrosion by sacrificing itself instead of critical engine parts.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement for part number 398331
  • Available in three alloy types to match your boating environment
  • Zinc alloy for saltwater applications
  • Aluminum alloy for brackish water use
  • Magnesium alloy for freshwater environments
  • Precision manufactured to exact OEM specifications
  • Easy installation with proper mounting hardware provisions

Selecting the correct anode material for your water type is essential for optimal corrosion protection. Zinc anodes work best in full saltwater, aluminum anodes are ideal for mixed salt and freshwater conditions, while magnesium anodes provide maximum protection in pure freshwater. Regular inspection and replacement of sacrificial anodes is critical preventive maintenance that extends the life of your outboard motor.

The best deals and customer service on the net

Quick and easy

It tells me that it works for my car model which is great and has a great price and easy ordering process. But 1 of the pictures doesn't seem to be of the part. That was kind of confusing and has me concerned.

It is great and I love the prices!

Good

easy to navigate site and had the parts I needed at a reasonable cost.

Lowest prices around the web and excellent customer service. The only real issue was the wait between placing the order and when it was shipped. Took 4 days but I chalk that up to the large amount of business they due to their prices being so competitive. For the lowest prices that I've seen I didn't mind waiting a bit longer!

price is great....could use more detailed description of the parts

Excellent customer care/saved me over $500.00 off from their competitors.

great

I ordered a hitch off of this site for Christmas, I have never heard of it nor did I know how they were, but they are great! Got my package in I'd say 4 days, very fast and it was exactly what I wanted! Only down fall was they charged me 3 times and I was short 150$ for a few days. I got my money back and I would definitely order again.

Great website with very quick response time and fast shipping. Product arrived as described, however packing fell short of my expectations as manufacturer's box was taped up and components were jarred around during transit causing some pieces to be scratched. Overall, would certainly do business with the company again due to flawless customer service.

looked all over for a wireless oneon board air compessor found the best price here very fast shipping very pleased with transaction thanks!!!
