Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anode Aluminum

Martyr Anodes Streamlined Shaft Anodes in aluminum are sacrificial marine anodes. They protect propeller shafts and other underwater metal parts from galvanic corrosion. The aluminum alloy is made for salt water and brackish water. It is a more efficient choice than traditional zinc shaft anodes in those conditions. Each one is also called a prop shaft anode or sacrificial shaft zinc alternative.

Key Features:

• Streamlined profile: A 100% circular radius gives full contact with the shaft.
• Interlocking two-piece halves: The halves clamp securely around the shaft. You can install them underwater.
• Extra alloy around the fastener: More material around the fastener increases capacity and extends service life.
• Secure hardware: Allen-head screws are used with lock washers and bolt-retaining washers. The retaining washers help keep the anode from coming off after installation.
• Quality alloy: The aluminum alloy is made to meet or exceed US Military Specification MIL-DTL-24779C (SH).

Application: This line is intended for salt and brackish water use. It is not recommended for freshwater. Choose the size that matches your shaft diameter. Martyr Anodes offers this streamlined design in a range of shaft sizes.
