Groco Sight Glass with Drain Plug for ARG Series Strainer Sea Strainers

The Groco sight glass with drain plug is a replacement part for Groco ARG Series bronze raw water strainers (sea strainers). It lets you check the strainer basket at a glance. You can see debris building up without taking the strainer apart. That helps you keep clean cooling water flowing to marine engines, AC units and gensets.

Key Features:

• Replacement sight glass made for Groco ARG Series raw water strainers
• One-piece molded design, so the strainer needs no tie rods or gaskets
• Includes a drain plug for draining the strainer before service
• Clear viewing of the basket and any debris inside
• Cleans with mild soapy water
• Rated for up to 50 PSI and 225°F

A fresh sight glass restores clear visibility and a reliable seal on an older or damaged strainer. Replace the head-to-sight-glass O-ring whenever you replace the sight glass. The O-ring is sold separately. Groco is a well-known name in marine plumbing, and ARG Series strainers are made in the USA. Choose the sight glass that matches your strainer series.
