Beckson Marine Pry-Out Deck Plate with Standard Trim Ring

The Beckson Marine Pry-Out Deck Plate with Standard Trim Ring is a watertight access plate, also called an inspection port or deck access cover. It gives you quick access to compartments, tanks, and hardware on boats. Beckson introduced the first pry-out deck plate as an access cover for a permanently mounted pump.

Key Features:

• Extra heavy O-ring seal helps keep the plate watertight
• Pry-out center opens easily without tools that need to be threaded or turned
• Standard trim ring gives a clean, finished look around the cutout
• Non-skid or smooth center surfaces suit different installation needs
• Marine-grade molded plastic construction is durable, and Beckson describes it as UV and impact resistant
• Tested to multiple standards: Beckson states its pry-out and screw-out deck plates were independently lab tested to exceed ABYC H-3 watertightness, ABYC H-4, NEMA 250 6P submergence, ISO 12216 and ISO 11812

Common Uses: Inspection compartments, clean-out and tank access, and access to shut-off valves and back-up fasteners.

Installation Note: Install pry-out plates only where internal pressure (oil-canning) is not present. For compartments where air pressure can change with temperature, use a screw-out style deck plate instead.
