Seastar Solutions Safe-T QC Steering Cable

The Seastar Solutions Safe-T QC Steering Cable is a quick connect rotary steering cable. It is a replacement for Safe-T QC rotary steering systems, and it also works with Teleflex-style rotary helms. The snap-in connection at the helm means no tools are needed to attach the cable, so installation is fast and straightforward.

Key Features:

• Quick connect design: a push-in, no-tools-required connection at the helm makes the cable easy to install and to remove later.
• Corrosion-resistant ends: stainless steel cable output ends help resist corrosion in marine environments.
• Durable jacket: a high density polyethylene (HDPE) outer jacket resists abrasion and water intrusion.
• Precise steering feel: a tightly controlled core-to-conduit fit gives smooth, responsive steering with minimal play.
• Standards compliance: built to meet ABYC standards and NMMA certification requirements.
• Wide helm compatibility: works with Safe-T QC rotary helms and with NFB (No FeedBack) helms. It also replaces earlier SSC61 series and SSC72 cables, depending on the application.

Use this cable to restore smooth steering on an aging system, or to refresh a Safe-T QC rotary steering system. It suits sterndrive, inboard and power-assisted applications, and it comes in a range of lengths so you can match the cable to your boat's helm-to-engine run.
